Ashley Gates, more well-known as Frostbyte, is a Cerberus Special Operations operator who commonly works alongside Special Operator Hellhound. She serves as his love interest, though does not have any knowledge of his origins. Hellhound, being her love interest also serves as a way to keep her calm whenever she gets feisty.
Biography
Childhood
Ashley Gates had a rough childhood for two big reasons, her parents, and her birthday. Her birthday being the smaller reason, earning her ridicule in middle school and a little bit of high school. The other reason, the bigger reason, were her abusive parents. The both of them, physically and mentally harassed and abused her. They even called her, quote "Useless waste of space daughter they didn't want." When she had begun eighth grade, she ran away from home, and went to school in Boulder until 18 years of age, living with her high school teacher.
Military Service
Ashley had served in the United States Army for around four years. From the age of Eight-teen to Twenty-two. She was an ordinary rifleman, serving in mostly the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. After four years of service, she was dishonorably discharged from the US Military for getting into an argument with a commanding officer. This had upset her greatly, and caused her to run off and do join Cerberus Contracting rather than be sent back home to her parents.
Cerberus and Present Day
After being discharged, she had as fast as possibly joined Cerberus Contracting. She had zipped through training at a fast pace, and had met Hellhound on one of her first missions. The two had gotten close and been on most missions after together. Ashley, now then known as Frostbyte because of her cold glare and ice cold heart to anyone but Marshall. She had been promoted to a Patriot, then shortly after trained to be a Special Operator in the CSO, where she is today, after a brief hiatus while imprisoned by HADES in the Ukraine till rescued.
